Electrochemical activation

Industrial consultancy · Water treatment
Since 1990, I have worked alongside industry and plant engineering in water treatment. Today I turn more than three decades of experience into practical, modular and integrable ELETTROFLOTTAZIONE® solutions.

01 · Operating principle
This animated schematic shows the physical treatment sequence: electrochemical activation, formation of species, contaminant aggregation and flotation of the resulting flocs to the surface.

Microbubbles and reactive species are generated directly in the liquid within the electrode pack.
Oils, colloids, metals and suspended solids are destabilised and gathered into separable flocs.
Microbubbles attach to the flocs and carry them to the surface, leaving a clarified water phase.
02 · Method
One technical path, from water sample to plant operation.
03 · Professional history
My journey started around operating plants and grew through process analysis, business development, commissioning and project delivery. ELETTROFLOTTAZIONE® brings this experience together: not an isolated technology, but a solution integrated into the client's real process.
First experience in industrial water treatment, plant operations and technical support.
Creation of the Italian Wikipedia entry on electroflotation as an educational contribution to the sector.
Development and industrialisation of proprietary systems, from the electrolytic cell to the complete automated module.
Technical-commercial consultancy, know-how transfer, training and local manufacturing support.
Pilot trials, scale-up and containerised systems for water treatment, recovery and reuse.
04 · International experience
Institutional conferences and industrial forums have supported the international development of expertise built through ELETTROFLOTTAZIONE® projects.

Presenting the technology within the industrial and scientific dialogue between Italy and India.

Sharing field experience with operators and decision-makers across the energy and water-treatment sectors.
05 · Expertise
One technical lead connecting process, machinery, automation and the expected result.
Assessment of wastewater, treatment targets, site constraints and interfaces with existing plant sections.
Test plans on real samples, trial execution, result interpretation and technical decision reports.
Translation of experimental evidence into modular architecture, treatment capacity and plant configuration.
P&IDs, functional logic, auxiliary equipment, automation and interfaces with filtration or membranes.
Technical-commercial proposals, solution positioning, negotiation and supply coordination.
Start-up, staff training, process tuning and operational know-how transfer.
06 · Applications
07 · Approach
Every project starts from real data. Pilot testing reduces uncertainty, defines the right configuration and builds a shared technical basis before industrial investment.
Representative sample and clear analytical targets.
Controlled testing and transparent comparison of results.
ETF as part of the complete process, never an island.
Training and technical support through full operational autonomy.
